EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) is a high-performance exterior cladding system consisting of continuous insulation, reinforced base coats, and durable acrylic finish coats. While no exterior cladding can be guaranteed completely woodpecker-proof, reinforced EIFS assemblies significantly improve resistance and are commonly recommended in areas where bird damage is a recurring issue.
